Easy Way to Detect Calcium Carbonate
Jun 20, 2023It's Tech Tip Tuesday!
Today, I am opening the knowledge vault and sharing a well-kept secret, my most common technique I use for reverse engineering and deformulation. 🔥
WAIT...WHAT??? 🤯
Yep, I'm sharing my number 1 secret! ⚛️
Whenever I think there is calcium carbonate in the formula, I run 2 techniques:
1. FTIR - For quick confirmation.
2. TGA - For confirmation and to determine the amount.
Follow the slideshow to learn exactly how.
Have you tried these techniques before? Do you find this useful? Let me know your thoughts below!
And if you need help with reverse engineering to detect a contaminant, better your formula, or to understand the competitor's formula, hit the 'Book A Call Now' button on the top!
PS, I have successfully completed over 30 reverse engineering projects, many of which others struggled with... I think I know a thing or 2 about successful reverse engineering. 🤩
